Kobo has put their ereaders on sale again for the holiday shopping season. It’s almost like a redo of their Black Friday sales, except the Kobo Clara Colour is on sale this time instead of the Kobo Libra Colour.

The Kobo Sage and the larger Kobo Elipsa 2E are both on sale again too, with the same prices as Kobo’s Black Friday sales. Kobo’s gift card deal is still ongoing as well, where you can get a $10 bonus when buying a $50+ gift card.

This is the first time the Clara Colour has been on sale since it was released back in April of this year. It’s surprising they haven’t put the Clara BW on sale during the holiday shopping season; it’s the only model that hasn’t gone on sale yet.

Now it’s the same price as Kobo’s BW Clara model, and it’s also the same price as the entry-level Kindle without ads, and it has several upgrades over it, including a warm frontlight, waterproofing, and it has a user-replaceable battery.

The Sage can also be used for notetaking but it doesn’t come with a stylus and it has a smaller 8″ E Ink screen, but it adds page buttons. The Clara models don’t support stylus input.

According to Kobo’s website, these current sales will end on December 24th, and the gift card deal runs until January 5th.
